in the Regions of the Southern Federal District

The Working Group Regulation

During the first meeting of the Working Group for Coordinating Activities in the Area of Public Administration Development in the South Russian Regions held on August 25, 2005 in Rostov-on-Don and chaired by Deputy RF Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Southern Federal District A.P. Pochinok it was decided to define the following main tasks and functions of the Working Group:

  • participation in development of public administration development strategy for the South Russian regions;

  • general coordination of activity of the RF regions located within the Southern Federal District related to the issues of public administration development;

  • support the process of reviewing and decision making within the general working plan in the area of public administration development in the South Russian regions, including interregional events;

  • participation in development of recommendations and programs in the area of public administration development;

  • participation in evaluation of general activity results of the South Russian regions under governance-related projects;

  • participation in preparation of periodical progress reports on public administration development in the South Russian regions.
